Julia is our deacon who oversees the corporate prayer life of Trinity. Every first Wednesday of the month we have a prayer focus from 7.30pm-9.00pm where members of the church gather in the chapel to meet with God and offer intercessary prayer.  As part of her duties Julia  leads and organises our multi-media and worship to assist in directing our prayers.

Sue was elected as deacon in November ’07 and has responsibility as Overseeing Deacon for our work with Children and Young People.  She co-leads one of the children’s groups and assists at Baby and Co.; but through prayerful focus on God this year she hopes to ‘do whatever God wants me to do’ and take a more active part in the ongoing growth of Trinity’s work out in our community in Bexleyheath. She longs to see our church filled to capacity with people praising God! Sue grew up in a Baptist church and spent her career in nursing. Now retired she spends some of her free time reading, painting and walking the dog. She has plans to one day complete a theology course, but in the meantime is using her new position to get to know more people and improve her social skills. Sue has been married to Mike for 33 years and they have three grown up children and two grandchildren.

Philip and his wife Abbie moved to Bexleyheath seven years ago when they were looking for good schools for their two children. Through group intercessory prayer Philip received a great blessing from God in his early life at Trinity. Baptised two years ago, he says he has become much more conscious of his thoughts and actions since then and his personal prayer life has been enriched. He has a particular heart for those in the community who find it hard to make ends meet. Philip longs to see Trinity grow in numbers but would like to be part of a strategy to make sure new people continue to feel welcomed and cared for by our church family. Philip originally studied in Real Estate Management and now works as a Revenues Manager. He loves travelling and plays tennis and golf with the rest of the family.
