Andy Banks

Andy was born and bred in Ipswich.  He became a Christian aged sixteen, on Easter Sunday, and was baptised the following year.  Andy is married to Fiona, and they have three children, Joel, Erin and Faith.  Andy joined Trinity in September 2010 as Assocate Pastor after he completed his ministerial training at Spurgeon’s College, and became Pastor in 2020.  When he is organised enough, Andy enjoys rock climbing, hill walking and open canoeing, and has had varying degrees of success in interesting his family in these activities.

 


Deacons
 

Louise Brady

Louise works full time for OMF International (UK) in the Finance Department. Louise is involved with the music group and the 18-30’s group.

 

 

 

 

 

Andrew Evans

Andrew has been a Christian since his early teens. He has been attending Trinity since September 2010 and has been involved in the church's youth ministry serving as a YP leader. Andrew also has a passion for God's word and preaches from time to time.  

Andrew works in Banking. He is married to Athena and they have two daughters, Elissa and Talia. 

 

Jon French

Jon has always considered himself a Christian but had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit aged 11 at Spring Harvest, where Jon felt prompted by the Spirit to be either “for me or against me”. Jon chose “for”! Jon has been attending Trinity for nearly 20 years and has been the Music/Worhsip Director for the last 10 years or so. Jon is married to Helen and they have a son called David. Jon works locally as an Independent Financial Adviser as part of a Christian run business.

 

Nikki Hall

Nikki has been a member at Trinity since 1988. She is married to Jeff and they have 2 children, Tim and Lizzie, who are both currently working and living away from home. Nikki enjoys being involved with the worship team as a singer. She is a tutor for primary aged children and a volunteer with OMF International.

 

 

Ron Jones

Ron came to Trinity in 1988, and is heavily involved in the music ministry.  His main responsibility as a Deacon focuses on minuting Deacons’ meetings.  He is retired, is married to Eileen, and has four daughters and six grandchildren.

 

 

 

Yohan Keerthiratna

Yohan was born in Sri Lanka and was baptised in 1991 at a Church in Romford. Yohan and his wife Ruchi have been members of Trinity since 2001. They have a grown up daughter, Naomi. Yohan is the Treasurer for Trinity and heads up the Finance Team.  Yohan also works in London as an accountant.

 

 

 

Caroline Kirby-Smith 

Caroline has been part of Trinity since 2015.  She is a retired administrator and has three daughters and six grandchildren. She became a Christian at the age of 15. Her desire is to see the touch of God through prayer, healing and wholeness in the lives of the family of the church and the community. She is the deacon with responsibility for Prayer coordination.

 

 

 

David Linley

David had an encounter with God when he was seven years old but began committedly following him aged 20. He worked with London City Mission for over 40 years and has now retired to Bexley. He and his wife Anne have four children and seven grandchildren.

 

 

 

 


Staff

Janet Grist - Pastoral Care Assistant

Jan has been attending Trinity since the early 1970s. She is married to Malcolm, and has 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. She has been involved in the children's work off and on for many years and currently co organises Trinity's weekly coffee morning, Oasis.

 

 

 

Alexa Moody - Community Worker

Alexa, her husband Ian and children Boaz and Esther have been part of Trinity since 2000, and  Alexa has been Trinity’s Community Worker since September 2009. 

Alexa runs our baby and toddler group, Baby & Co, every Wednesday morning during term time.  Alexa and her team provide activities for children from birth up to nursery age. 

 

Kerry O'Sullivan - Administrator

Kerry, her husband Chris and children Isaac and Annabel have been part of Trinity since 2002, and Kerry has been Trinity’s Administrator since 2008.

Kerry works in the church office on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays which involves secretarial support to the Pastors and Deacons, membership secretary, production of the weekly News Sheet and maintenance of church diary and website.
